Power Up

Rise, Heal, Repeat: One Root at a Time

At Wind Haven Foundation, we believe healing is like the lotus: it rises from the mud, roots deep, and reaches for the light. Just like that lotus, you’re meant to rise—stronger, wiser, and more beautiful than before. Healing isn’t just about moving past pain—it’s about reforging what was broken into something even stronger. And honestly, if that’s not a holy glow-up, we don’t know what is.

Holistic Domestic Abuse Recovery

We focus on three core foundations: faith to find strength beyond ourselves (because, let’s face it, sometimes coffee isn’t enough), heart and mind to heal old wounds, and community to help you trust, connect, and thrive. This isn’t therapy—it’s real talk, real tools, and real transformation, led by people who’ve been there.

Our Overcomer Reforge method combines faith, wisdom, and practical strategies to help you break old cycles, heal deeply, and rebuild the relationships you deserve. It’s about reforging faith, trust, and mutual respect—with God, with others, and with yourself. Like the lotus, your strength comes from your roots, and like metal in the fire, you’re being reshaped—not ruined. You were always meant to rise. Just don’t forget to bring that “I’m-ready-for-this” attitude.

Testimonials

"The Wind Haven Foundation is an incredible resource for anyone navigating domestic abuse and toxic relationships. The relationship recovery center has thoughtfully designed courses and e-books that offer valuable insights and tools for healing. Everything is well-structured, easy to follow, and provides practical steps to support recovery. Lastly, the community available through discord is so supportive and understanding. Furthermore, the staff is truly amazing—dedicated, compassionate, and committed to helping individuals in their healing journeys. Their level of care and support shines through in every aspect of the program, making it feel like a safe and empowering space to learn and grow.I also love their blog! It’s filled with informative articles that offer guidance on setting boundaries, self-care, and navigating difficult relationships. The blog serves as a great resource for continuous learning and support, even outside the courses. If you're looking for a supportive environment with high-quality resources to help you recover and thrive, Wind Haven Foundation is the place to go."

Through the Overcomer Reforge program and the OIDR Healing Trinity, I experienced a breakthrough I once thought was impossible. After years of struggling with fibromyalgia, toxic patterns, and unhealthy coping mechanisms—including smoking and codependency—I stepped away on sabbatical to press into stillness and confront some deeply rooted lies. I used the OIDR framework to challenge the belief that “there is no cure,” both spiritually and scientifically. As I tapered off medication under my doctor’s care and leaned into God's truth, my symptoms vanished within a week. No flares, no flare-ups—just freedom. I began detoxing not only physically but emotionally and spiritually. Resilience, I’ve learned, isn’t just toughing it out—it’s choosing sacred rest, setting boundaries in love, and allowing God to heal the broken places (Psalm 147:3, NRSV, 1999). The truth is, the world may not have the cure, but I know the Ultimate Healer, and He has the final word (Isaiah 40:31; Matthew 11:28, NRSV, 1999). The Overcomer Reforge isn’t just a program—it’s a refining fire that transforms suffering into strength, and wounds into witnesses.

Help Us Build a Better Tomorrow for Survivors

Marriage Shouldn’t Be a Deadly Condition

Every minute, 24 people in the U.S. experience rape, assault, or stalking—usually at the hands of someone they should be able to trust. Domestic violence claims over 1,300 lives each year—more than three people every single day—taken by those meant to protect them.

We’re done with that. At Wind Haven, we turn Crisis into Clarity. Survivors need more than escape routes and temporary fixes—they need healing, hope, and a clear path forward. That’s why our flagship program, Overcomer Reforge, is a virtual, nationwide recovery journey designed to help survivors break free from toxic cycles and rebuild through faith, community, and holistic healing.

But healing doesn’t stop at recovery—it requires safety. Too often, survivors escape abuse only to end up trapped in unsafe, unstable housing. That’s why Wind Haven is pioneering a nonprofit housing stewardship model: to replace exploitative systems with communities where health, stability, and dignity come first. Because Jesus didn’t just heal the hurting—He overturned the systems that kept them bound. That’s the OIDR model in action: Observe. Identify. Dispute. Replace.

We’ve been there. We know healing isn’t just about surviving abuse—it’s about rising, rebuilding, and finding strength in God’s light. This isn’t a quick fix. It’s a journey from trauma to thriving, from isolation to belonging.

Your donation fuels that journey—funding prevention tools, advocacy, counseling, education, and a supportive faith-rooted community for survivors nationwide. Together, we’re planting seeds today for a future where survivors don’t have to choose between danger and homelessness, but can step into safety, clarity, and long-term healing.

Join us. Let’s create a world where survivors rebuild with dignity, families flourish in safe communities, and the cycle of abuse is finally broken.
